Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 8, 2026

1. Our Privacy Guarantee

AnonPulse was built from the ground up to protect individual anonymity. We never expose your real Slack user ID, email address, or identity to your employer, managers, or channel members when you post anonymously.

2. Data Collection and Usage

To deliver two-way thread forwarding, our encrypted backend temporarily stores a cryptographic mapping between the Slack thread timestamp and the original user's ID. This data is encrypted using industry-standard AES-256-GCM. No client-side view or public channel payload ever contains the author's real ID.

3. Data Retention and Security

Workspace access tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM and stored within Google Cloud Firestore. Administrative operations data is isolated, and secrets are managed via Google Cloud Secret Manager.
